I also had a doubt whether this is a error. So i did a scan for 11680TP and saved it and 37 channels added from 1514 to 1550.
Then i went into manage FTA and selected delete all channels. Channels from the 11680TP got deletted now. But this LCN from 1500 to 1513 still remains. Will it be a software glitch. Do we have a option for hardware reset. HR sms will do a software reset, what we do for a hardware reset. Let me do a hard reset and see what happens. Even my STB got updated with Channels starting from 1500 to 1519. Two weeks back only my STB got updated with release no.450. Mine is homecast. Is there any way to restore back to normal.

to restore it to 3 digit Go to menu>settings>system setup>free to air channels>delete all channels and press ok all channels in 4 digit will deleted

TODAY'S UPDATE:
I came to my parents house today and I dont see those channels now. Dont know how and what happened. After enquiring my mom, i got to know that a software download happened couple of days back. It could be a software glitch which airtel should have corrected (remember those LCNs came up on our STB only after a update) Changes i could feel: those 4 digit LCNs missing, the small text bar above the EPG banner is missing now. One more, the news channels from Zee like Zee News, Zee Business, 24 Ghanta and 24 Taas doesnt show EPG now.
