Digitisation and the ratings game
When mandatory digitisation kicks in, it could affect the ratings of TV programmes. As people flirt with a new content landscape, the television rating points (TRP ratings) of several shows could change, feel experts. TRP is a tool to judge which programmes are viewed the most — across time belts, age group and social economic class, to enable advertisers to place their ads suitably.

Well Big CBS channels are nice but we can get it on some cables & RDTV only provodinig. Hope to see Big CBS channels in other networks.

Big cbs channels also coming in dishtv and sundirect.

Big CBS Prime, Spark & Love available on RDTV, ADTV, Sun TV & Dish TV. Videocon D2h has Big CBS Prime. Only TataSky don't have any Big CBS channel

As we all know due to some unknown reason some DTH operators (like TataSky here) are not allowing channels from other DTH platform (like Big CBS from Reliance) on their own platform.

Ooh ya...now i get the connection...
Adtv has some big cbs channels. Yes, with digitization, surely the penetration of these type of channels will increase  ON TOPIC : definitely trp will change coz people will have new things to fiddle with !
