Introduction to Airtel Digital TV and It's features
Airtel Digital TV is owned and operated by Bharati Airtel Group.Popularly it is referred as ADTV. ADTV started it's operations in 2008

ADTV is using INSAT 4CR at 74°E and SES 7 at 108.2°E as satellites for broadcasting it's channels and services.But in recent times ADTV is shifting to SES 7 and most of all Dishes have been reallined.
It is using MPEG 4 DVB S2 compression technology.At present they have 12 tp's of 36 MHz bandwidth on SES 7.

As on 5th July 2012 total 301 channels and services. out of which 256 SD channels,15 HD channels,5 promo,3 pay per view, 2 SVOD,
6 widget services,6 interactive services and 6 games.
At present,ADTV is broadcasting 15 HD channels.ADTV is the first DTH in India to have all 3 HD Sports channels.(Ten HD,Star Cricket HD and ESPN HD)
ADTV is also having HD Recorder with 320GB or 500GB HDD. Soon ADTV will launch it's internet VOD service.
