Unitech moves CLB seeking arbitration in its dispute with Telenor
Realty firm Unitech, on Friday approached the Company Law Board seeking arbitration in its dispute with Norwegian telecom firm Telenor over control of joint venture Uninor. The JV is set to lose 22 spectrum licences following the Supreme Court’s February 2 order cancelling all the 122 2G licences allotted in 2008 during the tenure of the former telecom minister a Raja. Telenor is believed to have told the Company Law Board that they would oppose Unitech’s petition in arguments scheduled for Monday.
