News: F.A.L.T.U. released online
#1
Leading provider of converged digital entertainment and advertising solutions Global Takeoff Inc, in partnership with Zee, has released Vashu Bhagnani’s F.A.L.T.U online through YuppTV.

YuppTV has premiered the film online on the same day and made it available for viewing on TVs, personal computers, smartphones and other Internet enabled devices with 24-hour subscription validity for $2.89.

"Indians residing overseas have to pay a high price to watch a film - while here in India entertainment is still affordable," said Bhagnani adding, "This move will not only generate revenues but also reduce the eventual but irrepressible piracy issues."

Said Global Takeoff founder and CEO Uday Reddy, "With this premiere release, producers can utilize the internet's potential to reach the ever increasing online audience worldwide. NRIs will now get a chance to sit back and watch the movie at home at their own convenience - and at a very affordable price."

Launched in 2008, YuppTV.com quickly took up Indian programmes with distribution rights to over 30 Indian TV channels.
