After upgrading the Airtel Digital TV section inside the Airtel Thanks app in April, Airtel is now allowing its DTH customers to manage their Digital TV account from the Airtel Xstream app as well. The features and UI within the Xstream app are same as the Airtel Thanks app, as the section seemingly redirects to the same page located within Airtel Thanks app.
Airtel Xstream app seems to have had a server side update recently with the ‘My DTH’ section now added within the interface of the app. Airtel DTH users can navigate their way to the section by clicking the hamburger button named ‘More’ which will show the other sections. On Clicking ‘My DTH’ section, the app will take you to another page wherein you can manage your DTH account.
Airtel had earlier revamped the DTH section within the Airtel Thanks app with a cleaner User Interface. The revamped section allows Airtel users to check all the subscribed channels within the app with a transparent account summary which has a complete break down of the monthly cost.
Separately, Airtel recently allowed its Digital TV customers to update their account details from within the Airtel Thanks app itself. Airtel DTH users can update the profile, address, and registered mobile number from within the app. This was earlier not possible.
