In Week 19, Bangla, Punjabi, and Marathi genre saw many changes with Pitaara TV dethroning PTC Punjab to top Punjabi channels. Shemaroo Marathibana gained ground on Zee Marathi, while ABP Majha dislodged TV9 Marathi from the number 1 Marathi News channel spot. Bangla genre saw minor changes with few shuffling of positioning. Shemaroo Marathibana closened the gap on Zee Marathi at 2nd position with a gap of just 1071 impressions.
Marathi and Marathi News Genre
In the Marathi genre, Zee Talkies maintained its leadership with 149941 impressions while Star Pravah maintained its 5th position. The middle order saw a shuffle with Shemaroo Marathibana rising from 4th to 3rd position. The FTA Marathi channel from Shemaroo reduced gap to Zee Marathi at 1071 impressions. Fakt Marathi dropped from 2nd to 4th position while Zee Marathi rose from 3rd to 2nd position.
On Free Platform, Shemaroo Marathibana decimated its competition climbing over Fakt Marathi to become the number 1 Marathi channel with 70744 impressions. Fakt Marathi dropped down to the second position.
On Pay Platform, Zee Talkies maintained its leadership at 149424 impressions with Zee Marathi, and Star Pravah maintaining their positions. Shemaroo Marathibana entered the Top 5 channels at 4th position with Sony Marathi dropping out. Fakt Marathi dropped to 5th to accommodate Shemaaro Marathibana at 4th position.
In the Marathi News genre, ABP Majha dethroned TV9 Marathi with 96216 impressions with TV9 Marathi dropping to the 2nd position. The gap between both channels was of a meagre 990 impressions. Saam TV, Zee 24 Taas, and News18 Lokmat retained their positions.
In the Punjabi genre, Pitaara TV dethroned PTC Punjabi to become the leader with 71186 impressions with PTC Punjabi dropping to 2nd position. Zee Punjabi, and Manoranjan Movies retained their positions while Maha Punjabi entered the Top 5 channels at the expense of PTC News.
On Free Platform, Zee Punjabi maintained its leadership with 36360 impressions while others maintained their positions. On Pay Platform, Pitaara TV dethroned PTC Punjabi with 70484 impressions while PTC Punjabi dropped to the 2nd position. PTC News retained its position while 9X Tashan dropped to 5th from 4th. PTC Punjabi Gold entered Top 5 channels at the expense of Living India News.
In the Bangla genre, Zee Bangla maintained its leadership at 189484 impressions with Sony Aath and Colors Bangla retaining their positions. Star India’s Jalsha Movies and Star Jalsha exchanged positioning with Jalsha Movies at 3rd and Star Jalsha at 2nd position.
In the Bangla News genre, ABP Ananda maintained its leadership with 88016 impressions while Zee 24 Ghanta and Kolkata TV retained their places. Calcutta News and News18 Bengal exchanged their positioning with News18 Bengal at 3rd and Calcutta News at 4th position.
In the Bhojpuri genre, Zee Biskope continued to lead with 52200 impressions while Bhojpuri Cinema, B4U Bhojpuri, Big Ganga, and Dabangg maintained their positions. On Free Platform, Zee Biskope continued its leadership with others maintaining their positions. On Pay Platform, Zee Biskope again continued to lead with others maintaining their positions.
In the Odiya genre, Alankar retained its leadership with 97306 impressions. Zee Sarthak, Tarang, Colors Oriya, and Prarthana retained their respective positions. In the Odiya News genre, OTV mainted its leadership with 66300 impressions while Kanak News, Kalinga TV, News18 Odia, and Zee Odisha retained their positions.
In the Gujarati genre, TV9 Gujarati maintained its leadership with 46382 impressions with ABP Asmita, Zee 24 Kalak, Sandesh News, and Colors Gujarati Cinema maintaining their positions.
In the Assamese genre, Rang maintained its leadership at 26936 impressions with Rengoni, Ramdhenu, Jonack, and DD North East retaining their respective positions.
In the Assamese News genre, News Live maintained its leadership at 39157 impressions with DY 365, Prag News, Protidin Time, and News18 Assam retaining their respective positions.
