Week 26 of BARC Ratings saw status quo maintained in Tamil, Tamil News, Kannada, Kannada News, Malayalam, and Telugu News genres with no change in the positioning of channels in the Top 5. Telugu and Malayalam News genre saw small movement with Zee Telugu jumping over Gemini TV to 2nd spot in Telugu genre while Media One TV entered the Top 5 at the cost of News18 Kerala in Malayalam News genre.
In Malayalam News genre, Media One TV entered Top 5 at 5th position at the expense of News18 Kerala which dropped out of Top 5. Asianet News retained its leadership while Twenty Four, Manorama News, and Mathrubhumi News held on to their positions.
In Malayalam genre, Asianet retained its leadership at 246886 (000s) impressions while Surya TV, Flowers TV, Mazhavil Manorama, and Zee Keralam retained their respective positions.
In Telugu genre, Star Maa retained its leadership at 596360 (000s) impressions while ETV Telugu and Star Maa Movies held onto their positions at 4th and 5th. Zee Telugu rose to 2nd position dislodging Gemini TV to 3rd position.
In Telugu News genre, TV9 Telugu retained its leadership at 100301 (000s) impressions while NTV Telugu, TV 5 News, V6 News, and T News held onto their respective positions.
In Kannada genre, Zee Kannada maintained its leadership at 378315 (000s) impressions while Udaya TV, Star Suvarna, Colors Kannada, and Udaya Movies retained their respective positions.
In Kannada News genre, TV9 Kannada maintained its leadership at 108990 (000s) impressions while Public TV, Suvarna News, News18 Kannada, and Dighvijay 24*7 News retained their respective positions.
In Tamil genre, Sun TV maintained its leadership with 834443 (000s) impressions, while Zee Tamil, Star Vijay, KTV, and Star Vijay Super maintained their respective positions.
In Tamil News genre, Polimer News retained its leadership at 97802 (000s) impressions, while Sun News, Puthiya Thalaimurai, Thanti TV, and News18 Tamil Nadu retained their respective positions.
