But If i have so many HD channels then why should I watch any SD channel on a FHD TV? I am not going to take any SD Pay channel if I buy Full HD in future. I will pay just Rs 153 for my current HD Ready TV for SD FTA channel. That's my plan. 😘

Majority do watch SD channels in absence of SD counterpart. Also this hardly makes price difference bcoz usually the leftover SD chs r ones which cost quite less.

Also for users like u TRAI had brought 15% bouquet discount cap rule which is still lying in limbo,if implemented u can chose channels on individual basis at much lower price rather than current state wherein broadcasters push in all possible channels thru bouquet and give price discount

Yes what i want is,
1. 15% discount cap.
2. Maximum channel price Rs 10.
3. No additional NCF after Rs 130.
4. Huge fine if MSOs doesn't provide all options to select channels.
That's all.

3rd not possible bcoz operators won't be earning much if that is curbed. TRAI has set max ceiling for NCF, operators free to charge less if they want. Channel MRP will vary depending on type of channel but overall prices will be slashed drastically for msin chs if 15% rule kicks in, second rung channels already cost hardly few paisas or rupee

But selecting both free and pay channel is a headache to me. I couldn't take FTA pack pack because of extra NCF.
I have to do it again in next month because my LCO has shifted from Hathway to SITI. and SITI's online portal is down since two months.

LCO r mismanaging system, in DTH we r getting almost all FTA chs without NCF applicable. Shift to DTH for better experience and less headache
