• Star Suvarna is completely missing from the list. Zee Kannada is a step away from overtaking Colors Kannada permanently like Zee Bangla overtook Star Jalsha permanently (by permanently I mean at least 1 year).
• Asianet and Sun TV totally dominate their respective languages (Sun TV dominates the entire nation). For the 2nd to 4th places it is a tight battle between Surya, Mazhavil and Flowers, and there is no fixed No. 2/3 between Zee Tamil and Star Vijay.
• After a lot of shifting and shuffling, from Week 27 onwards, there is a permanent No. 1 (Star Maa) and a permanent No. 2 (Zee Telugu, except Weeks 41-43). Generally Zee Telugu was the 3rd or 4th channel until it launched its HD version, but now it enters the national top 10 every couple of months. As for Star Maa, it has beaten Star Plus and Bharat as Star's No. 1 channel. The acquisition of the Maa network has cemented Star's position as a leader in the regional segment.

Purely on the basis of dominancy(irrespective of ratings) Asianet comes first. Because Star maa started dominancy recently,before that there was shuffling of all channels and very before that Gemini was leading. Also as per the percentage share,Asianet has closer to triple the rating of 2nd most channel where Star maa's share is not more than 50%.Since the overall viewership is big in Telugu Star maa is performing at Top 10.

Never, All big 4s were reached #1 spot in Kannada. But time period for it is long, while in Telugu its frequent.
