With no DAS in TN, TataSky has to bring a Tamil Only pack (plus all FTA channels across languages and genre) at affordable rate of Around Rs 150 to 200 so every house gets one.

Heavy pricing of DTH and way too many Hindi Channels are the only reason why many people still stick to local cables.

Just check this URL all i see are a huge list of non tamil channels (over 40 hindi news, 10 entertainment channels and many more) alone but the name alone states its "South Special" - Tata Sky
