49.54% of 78.74 mn DTH subscribers are inactive: TRAI
MUMBAI: The number of inactive subscribers of six private direct-to-home (DTH) operators has touched 49.54 per cent on a total registered subscriber base of 78.74 million, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has said. The DTH sector has 39 million inactive subscribers, according to the broadcast sector regulator’s new data till 30 June 2015. Active subscribers stood at 39.74 million comprising 50.46 per cent of the total registered subscriber base, as per data submitted by the DTH operators to the TRAI. In the trailing quarter, the total number of registered subscribers stood at 76.05 million. While 41.15 million were active subscribers, the number of inactive subscribers amounted to 34.90 million. India has six pay TV DTH operators (Dish TV, Tata Sky, Videocon d2h, Airtel Digital TV, Sun Direct and Reliance Digital TV), apart from Doordarshan’s free DTH service Freedish.

:shy No bro I meant each dth saying they have 10 million and other saying 12 million if we wake averagely 5 million subscribers per dth means it is around 25 so all dth's are lying or is it came down recently:huh
