RDTV heavily advertised MPEG4 STB when they launched. Isnt MPEG4 a compression technique itself?

But its healthy compression

I stated compression due to space crunch they reduced the pixel rate by adding one buffer then add channel adtv & sdirect done it before

But mpeg4 is improving the pq & aq of Channels from mpeg2 :)

This is the difference i know sorry experts if it's wrong means

1499 Rs pack. Even for 4 years FTA pack is not bad in this price :p I am hopeful they will not close the paid channels before 1 year
@Hassan Syed bro, did you recharge with Rs 1499? What are the channels in this new Gold Pack?
If anyone else has taken 5 years pack, please provide new Gold Pack Details.
@jay vithlani bro, any info / brochure you have? I havent seen a brochure of RDTV in years!

Currently Gold pack has same channel it was having before. I am using Max Pacage. I haven't yet recharhed my Reliance Digital. Just waiting for few more channels to be back again

If Gold Pack has same channels as before, then Rs 1499 (for 1 year + FTA 4 years) is an unbelievable deal.
Gold Pack contains all channels except:
  • HD Channels
  • CNN
  • Discovery Turbo
  • Republic TV
  • Sony Six
  • Sony ESPN
  • Sony BBC Earth
  • Sony Max 2
  • Sony Mix
  • Sony Yay
  • Sony Ten3
But now includes all Star including sports, all Zee, all Sony except the above, all Infotainment, all Music (although very few), all Hindi News and English News, all Kids excluding the above. So I think 1499/12 = Rs 125 is a very good deal, based on your preferences and choices.
