This time will see many changes in Tv Channels & participations in DDFD. Awaiting 10th Feb 2025 for starting E-Auction.

Excited for this. But maybe we will get disappointment. PB not decreased base price much, so mostly we will see same channels again.
Good chance for more R bucket channels. Expecting some slots left till last round. They can get more slots at base price. But till now, we not seen any good regional channels in R1 bucket.
Hoping for a good and exciting e-auction...

I think this time many regional & News channel comming due to More slots in MPEG-4 & prices are also very less in MPEG-4.

Means the DD (Regional) Channels will continue in MPEG-4 format and might be removed from MPEG-2 as per requirement of slots in annual E-auction of MPEG-2. We might see Private slot increase in MPEG-2.

Everything depends on big broadcaster. If they withdraw their channels then most of the mpeg 2 slots will remain vacant. This time mpeg 4 may get popularity if some good regional channels show interest.

Yeah, this time, there will be no confusion. Adter recent TRAI rule, we already know which big broadcaster channels are coming on DDFD and which are not.

No, Confusion will continue. Big broadcasters like Jiostar and Zee, decreased price of their rerun Hindi GEC channels to 0.10 rupees. After the TRAI new amendments, the pressure of Private DTH will also get decreased or removed as they will also available free for their platform and pay carriage fees.

Sony might removed their channel because of few reasons-
1. They might want to see potential of Sony Wah, it can sustain without free dish or not. If they not get results then they can participate in annual E-auction, as 1 month is enough to see changes in viewership.
2. They might want to focus on distribution of content in FTA broadcasters.

Trai say if u join free dish as a free you also free on private platform
Already star utsav sony pal zee anmol and rishtey are free to air on fta package on all dth platforms
Also their price is under 1rs
