This was bound to happen
Firstly operators r still in process of Signing New RIO agreements with different broadcasters, updating New Bouquet/channels....post this they will have to realign certain channels or in case of some operators like Airtel Digital TV there will be entire change in channel numbers and each broadcaster will be allotted LCN as per slab agreement signed on in RIO.

Also many operators r awaiting additional transponder activation to add new channels which again will cause broadcasters to pause / keep on hold plans to launch new channels. Rebranding or replacement of channels will b postponed bcoz of reason i stated in above paragraph.

Also Disney-Star will likely reevaluate if they should go ahead with shutting down certain channels or continue with them. Last time decision to discontinue Disney International HD & Disney Junior was cancelled and this time it was decided that Bindass will continue to be available. Let's wait n watch

Star Gold Romance was supposed to launch using existing licence of Star World HD, if Star World HD is not getting shutdown as of yet then maybe Star Gold Romance will have to launch using licence of some other channel or may be a new license. They can use the licence of UTV Movies but then i believe they will also have get the licence owner name changed from Disney India Broadcasting Private Limited to Star India Private Limited. Still there is no change in licence name of UTV Movies and UTV Action on broadcastseva portal , no mention of Star Gold Thrills too in TV Channels licence list.

I have a feeling that UTV Movies, UTV Action, UTV HD will continue and Star Gold Romance will launch as a new channel alongwith Star Gold 2 HD in February itself. Star World SD/HD might also be continued with revamped content strategy. Star Movies Select may replace Star World Premiere HD or Disney-Star might even launch a kids movie channel with multi audio feed using licence of Star Movies Select HD and Star World Premiere HD. UTV HD might be rebranded as UTV Action HD. Baby TV HD might be replaced with a New Channel in Infotainment genre under Nat Geo branding which may feature science, technology, investigative content

UTV HD might be rebranded as UTV Action HD.

This won’t happen for sure. Killing existing UTV channels will be delayed but new ones won’t be launched.

Baby TV HD might be replaced with a New Channel in Infotainment genre under Nat Geo branding which may feature science, technology, investigative content

Highly unlikely from Disney Star. Their existing Nat Geo and Nat Geo Wild channels are more than enough, even though Nat Geo has stopped showing many science and technology shows. They should instead reintroduce those shows on Nat Geo itself.

Still there is no change in licence name of UTV Movies and UTV Action on broadcastseva portal , no mention of Star Gold Thrills too in TV Channels licence list.

This will take more time than expected. Already we are facing several delays from them and they have delayed once again. The problem this time is not the delay, but that it was never communicated directly from them. We have to rely on @Vadirocks anna and @SarfaRaZ bhai for all news on the new Disney Star channels.

They will just change the names of these two channels,but movies will be same from their old library.They are not going to acquire new movies for these channels,I am very much sure
