9X Jhakaas is all set to launch the second season of its talent hunt show ‘Jhakaas Heroine 2’. Starting 12 September, ‘Jhakaas Heroine 2’ will look to launch the next actress in the Marathi film industry. The show will air at 11 am, with a repeat telecast at 3 pm and 7 pm.

‘Jhakaas Heroine Season 2′ has roped in Fair & Lovely BB Cream as the title sponsor, Pro-Ease Sanitary Napkins as the powered by sponsor and Max as the fashion partner.

The show will be co-produced by Marathi movie superstar Swwapnil Joshi along with GSEAMS.

The second season of Jhakaas Heroine will be directed by Marathi producer and director Swapna Waghmare Joshi.

9X Jhakaas head of programming Rohan Rane said, “We received over 4700 entries across Maharashtra during the auditions for Jhakaas Heroine Season 2.

And thanks to our esteemed panel of judges, we have completed the mammoth task of shortlisting the 15 finalists who would compete for the coveted title of Jhakaas Heroine.

From now on the journey to introduce the next big actress in the film industry begins.

We have increased the entertainment quotient further in the second season with some exciting rounds and selection procedure.”

The panel of judges for season 2 include Swwapnil Joshi, Swapna Wagmatr Joshi, Aaditya Sarpotdar, Smita Tambe, Neha Pendse, Neha Rajpal, Rakesh Bapat and Rohit Veer.

The first episode will capture the performance of the judges Smita, Swwapnil and Swapna who danced with the contestants during the auditions.

It also captures the emotional moments of the contestants with Swwapnil.
