Viacom18 announces Har Din Diwali campaign with reduced pricing for COLORS and COLORS Kannada

Spreading the cheer this festive season, Viacom18 has announced a-la-carte price for its flagship Hindi GEC COLORS and Kannada GEC COLORS Kannada at Rs 12/month each. In line with this special festive price, Viacom18 is launching a consumer awareness campaign ‘Har Din Diwali’ encouraging viewers to now subscribe to these channels at its new price point. As part of this offer, the a-la-carte price of COLORS and COLORS Kannada has been reduced from the present price of ₹19 to ₹12 per month each.

What I have understood by the Press Release by V18 is that the Management concentrated only with the Channels that are Priced with Rs.19/-. Other V18 Channels are not priced so much. All caters between Rs.0.10/- to Rs.14/- and they restrict themselves to pull down ALC prices on other SD Channels for Festival.

No Broadcasters have thought about HD offerings on Festive Season. May be they thought that HD discount not needed as SD viewers are in High in compare to HD Subscription. But yes - It's sad story so far.

Wait Brother.....Just Announcement made. You can expect Sun Direct to Update quicker as recently Star ALC Prices of this Discount have been Updated today.


May be SPN will also follow this and give Discount to SET / Sony SAB and Max.
