Aamir Khan is flying high with the blockbuster success of Dangal. It has just been a weekend and the film has already broken many records. Aamir Khan has made sure to reach as many places as possible with this film.
On Sunday, the Haryana government made Aamir Khan starrer Dangal tax-free in the state. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the film was giving out a great message and was giving boost to the important ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ mission in the state. This was the reason the government took a decision to make it tax-free.
Recently, INLD MP Dushyant Chautala had raised the demand for the government to make the films tax-free. Manohar Lal Khattar said the government was in the process of preparing a film policy to promote Haryanvi films in the state. He said a meeting in this regard was recently held with the owners of cinema halls.
Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is a biopic on wrestler and coach Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters Geeta Kumari Phogat and Babita Kumari Phogat in wrestling so that they could represent India in international wrestling and win a gold medal for the country. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra , Sakshi Tanwar, Aparshakti Khurrana, Zaira Wasim among others.
