They are still deducting 1 day amount instantly. (Which is logically correct )

What I have personally checked is that if you accidentally removed some ala carte channels during your plan editing & you again added them on the same day your a/c balance will not be debited for 2nd time. That's mean instant deduction is only for first time activation. But for packs they're deducting from next day, so price wise viewers are getting some extra hours for packs but not for ala carte channels.
N.B. I can't guarantee the same result for others as my case scenario was totally different - using creat your own plan option I changed my pack + some selected ala carte channels to same ala carte channels but without my pack. That's mean it was done instantly & there was no waiting time in between.
