Is Airtel authorised to charge fees for these months

They'll just deduct Rs 15 OR 20 as idle maintenance fee from your next recharge. Ask from cc about retention offers before doing recharge.

I didn't recharge for last 4 months and activated only this month...I didn't have to pay any extra charges...These are prepaid...Recharge to use it or don't recharge if you don't want to watch TV & recharge again when you want to watch again...It's the same as Prepaid numbers also when we can decide to recharge it or not...

does airtel also provide vacation/holiday service like TATA sky?

I mean, existing balance will be protected for number for days we are on vacation say 5-20days and DBR will stop.

Any charges for reactivation?
