From what I understand, your HD became hot and seems its not working, you don't have access to CC since you're out of India. Why don't you try replacing the HD ?

UNABLE TO READ HARD DISK

HDD might be dead.... you can use this https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01M15DQBH/?tag=dreamdth-21 to connect your HDD to the computer and test it. If your computer detects it and your HDD works normal then the issue is something else and if it doesn't detect the HDD then replacing the HDD might solve the problem.
