Airtel HD DVR recording issue

Hi,

I am facing below issue on recording
HDD001 Unable to read hard disk.
Airtel is saying they will need to replace the STB, but they have stop stop HD DVR. I want HD recording STB with dual recording simultaneously.

What are the options available?

I think problem with Hard disc. They may replace hard disc not entire STB.But you will lose all the content in hard disc if HDD corrupt.
About options,
if you have proper knowledge & equipment try to unplug and re-plug the HDD.
and some one posted a thread in this forum, for checking HDD is working fine or not.
