It was running on DD-1 from 1994 onward. Regional DD channels used to dub it in their language and broadcast. I remember watching Alif Laila and Chandrakanta from my neighbor home since there was no TV at my home. After 1996, once we bought a TV, I used to continue watching them from my home itself

Chandrakanta - Sunday 9.00am to 10.00am
Jungle Book - Sunday 12.00pm to 12.30pm
Junoon - Tuesday and Thursday 10.30pm to 11.00pm
Ajnabi - Tuesday 10.00pm to 10.30pm
Kanoon - Wednesday 10.30pm to 11.00pm
Akbar The Great - Sunday 10.00am to 10.30am
