But an English GEC or English movies channel airing the shows with regional audio is not in line with the channel genre.

But bro people are watching with regional audio if presented, prime example is sony pix showing movies in regional audios for some movies, if its not needed then why channels are exploring that?

They don't actually subscribe to enjoy movies in regional language. They are watching in native languages as they are getting it. If they use their brain and air these on Max in Hindi. They can actually get back their lost viewers. They can even share the rights with regional broadcasters.

Channels may do that to increase reach or revenue.
But I still don't understand this survival/growth technique.
