Asianet lines up Easter specials

MUMBAI: Celebrating the festival of Easter,
Asianet has lined up special programmes
across its three channels.

Besides airing regular programmes, the
Malayalam general entertainment channel
will present special shows like ‘Cinema
Diary’ at 8:30 am and discuss the Easter
movie releases.

At 12 noon, there will be another one-hour
special titled ‘Serial House Inn’ presenting a
look at the Easter celebrations by small-
screen celebrities.

The channel will also air movies during the
day which include ‘Ohm Shanthi Oshaana’ at
9:30 am, ‘Mathai Kuzhappakaranalla’ at 1
pm, ‘Avatharam’ at 4 pm, and ‘Iyyobinte
Pusthakam’ at 7 pm.

Meanwhile, the network’s youth-oriented
Malayalam channel Asianet Plus will air
movies like ‘Colours’ at 10 am, followed
‘Nadodi Mannan’ at 1:30 pm, and ‘Dr Love’
at 6 pm. In addition, it will also showcase
special Easter programmes like ‘Shappile
Kariyum Naavile Ruchiyum’ at 12 noon,
‘Kadha Parayumbol’ at 4:30 pm, and a
‘Humorous Talk Show’ at 9 pm.

Asianet Movies will broadcast movies from 7
am on Easter, which will include ‘Hotel
California’, ‘North 24 Kaatham’, ‘Ladies and
Gentlemen’ , ‘Rajarani’ , ‘Visudhan’ ,
‘Mahanagaram’ , ‘Manthri Kumaran’, and
‘December’.
