Randhir Kapoor his wife Babita, Amitabh Bachchan, filmmaker Devendra Goel and David pose for the shutterbugs at the charity premiere of Goel's film Dharkan on May 26, 1972 at Dreamland Cinema.

Randhir, the young and dashing Kapoor looks happy with his yet un-separated wife Babita in his arms, while Amitabh sans wife Jaya looks distinctly lonely standing behind them. Director Devendra Goel is all smiles, considering it's his film that's getting screened. And with such star presence at the charity premiere, any director would be smiling ear-to-ear.

As for the late actor David, dressed in a white kurta pyjama, the man looks as sweet as ever, reminding us of Haripath Chaturvedi in Chupke Chupke, Uncle Tom from Baaton Baaton Mein and Ram Dayal of Khoobsurat, three of the most endearing characters played by the actor.

Going by this picture clicked by Jagdish Aurangabadkar, charity in Bollywood, definitely isn't a recent phenomena. Though none of the actors in this picture were a part of the film being screened, they still made sure they stood up for some good work by turning up for the charity premiere. Now we know where Salman Khan draws his inspiration from.
