week 2 (January 9-15, 2016) of the BARC Ratings, Colors retained its top spot again with 762 million ratings. Star Plus replaced Zee Anmol to acquire the second spot where as, the latter is pushed to the third spot. Sony Entertainment Television stepped up to No.9 after being at the last spot for two weeks.
Colors witnessed a rise in the ratings from 756 million to 762 million in the second week of 2016 and hence retained its top spot in the BARC ratings chart.
Star Plus also experienced a rise in both ratings and position as the ratings grew from 699 million to 727 million catapulting it to the No.2 spot.
Zee Anmol slipped down to the third spot as a result of a decline in the ratings from 719 million to 682 million in week 2.
Zee TV continued to be on the fourth spot with 636 million ratings. The channel had 681 million ratings in the previous week.
Star Utsav garnered 506 million ratings, higher than previous week’s 462 million, and remained at No.5.
Life OK with 425 million ratings stood at No.6. The channel had 421 million ratings in week 2.
Rishtey remained at No.7 for the third consecutive week with 365 million ratings. But it witnessed a fall in the ratings from previous week’s 390 million.
Sony Pal fetched 339 million ratings and stood at No.8 like last week. The channel had 352 million ratings in week 1.
Sony Entertainment Television stepped up to the ninth spot after being on the tenth spot for two weeks, though it saw a decline in ratings from 328 million to 325 million ratings in week 2.
Sony Sab came down to the tenth spot with a declined ratings of 323 million from 334 million in week 1.
