Repetition and more of dubbed south indian filmd leading to decline in ratings of star gold. Star Gold 2 managing to do well as its price is less hence more people opt for it even on standalone basis.

Star/Disney needs to bring more variety in schedule as its library is very large now, not cut songs, reduce dubbed cinema and air hollywood dubbed films mostly on UTV Action or even better have separate ch for kids / family hollywood dubbed films
 
After Sony Yay exit from top 5 earlier this year, now another surprise in kids genre as Chhota Bheem, Motu Patlu not in top 5 program list.

Even Doraemon, Shinchan working average for disney
 
Colors Infinity makes huge comeback, even Star World sees a jump. Comedy, Reality and most importantly iconic show helping get new and old audience back in. Disney International HD gets spike when holidays come.

Zee Cafe is lost story with no strategy in place.

Romedy Now, Star World Premiere working fine in niche genre it operates

StarUstav & StarPlus Continues to be at #1 & #2 Positions Respectively.
Hindi GEC (PAY Platforms)
StarPlus is India’s Most Watched PAY Hindi GEC.
Shows Like Anupama,Imlie,GHKPM has boosted StarPlus ratings a lot. Shaurya & Anokhi got 1.1 in the opening weak which is not bad in the time slot it comes in & it can grew in upcoming weaks if the plot is apt. StarPlus is making high bets on Fiction Content & I accept the same for reality as well after making their fiction more strong.
Sister Channels StarUstav & StarBharat is present in #6 & #8 Positions Respectively.
Hindi Movies (All Platforms)
StarGold is at #4 Position
Hindi Movies (PAY Platforms)
StarGold & StarGold 2 is at #3 & #4 Position Respectively. Here I’m happy that both the channels are present in TOP 5 considering that other network’s second Hindi Movie Channel have not seen the same success like StarGold 2, where it constantly comes up in TOP 5. Just a little promotion & better scheduling will help both the channel to boost up it’s ratings & most importantly reduce dubbed Cinema as it has lead to decline the ratings of StarGold.
English GEC & Movies:-
In English Entertainment StarWorld & Disney International HD is at #4 & #5 Position Respectively. Is Star really doing anything for these Channels?
ofcourse not! Every Weak these two swap their positions, they can’t stick to a good position because of their bad scheduling & repeating the same thing again & again.
Coming to Movies StarMovies as retain their #1 title from few weaks (by luck) but this channel need more closer look by the Star Team.
Now Coming To Regional Entertainment:-
StarJalsha Contines to be Most Watched Bengali Channel & sister channel StarJalsha Movies is at #3 Position but StarJalsha Leadership Is in danger by rival network so they need to do something to counter this. Only 2 Shows are present in TOP 5.
StarPravah Has Conquered Whole of Maharashtra in (PAY & overall). All the TOP 5 Programs from Maharashtra are by StarPravah.
Asianent continues To Be Most Watched Malayalam Entertainment Channel.
StarMaa continue to be Most Watched Telugu Channel.
In Tamil Market StarVijay Contines to be at #2 Position & Sister Channel StarVijay Super is At 5th Position Respectively. In Tamil Market 2 StarVijay Shows are present in TOP 5.
in Kannada Market StarSuvarna Continues To be at 3rd Position.
In Lifestyle Segment FOX Life is doing great at 4th Position Considering this channel doesn’t get promoted anywhere. Although good days can start after a Revamp only.
in Infotainment National Geographic is at 2nd Position & NatGeo Wild is at 5th Position.
National Geographic Needs to get Promoted Across Network in all Languages that will help both the channels. I’m Happy that National Geographic India is getting great response in Social Media from few weaks.
In Kids Domain I’m very happy with Hungama.
with new anime shows this channel has improved but it needs a variety so they should acquire more titles so that anime fan in India will get a official way to watch anime content in India.

In Hindi GEC, Star/Disney doing well across urban, rural segments for all chs except Star Bharat. Sony, Viacom18 strong in urban but weak in rural segments though Sony Sab seems to doing avg in rural markets too. Zee strong in rural but weak in urban and &tv is not achieving desired result.


Good thing is shows like Anupamaa, Imli doing excellent which means good content getting appreciated. Healthy sign for tv universe.


Shemaroo TV not managing to match up with other fta players, even Dangal ratings declined by large margin.



Music chs again struggling and they need to reinvent to gain ratings
