BARC released its ratings for the regional channels in week 20 (May 16 – 22, 2015). These are ratings of the top channels according to household data HSM NCCS 1 lakh+ Household data ratings (000’s).
In the Marathi genre, Zee Marathi was at No.1 with 40 million. It is followed by Zee Talkies with ratings of 15 million. Star Pravah is at No.3 with ratings of 10 million.
Among the Telugu channels, Gemini TV ratings were higher marginally at 46.9 million. Zee Telugu followed closely behind with ratings of 46.8 million. Maa TV came in No.3 spot with ratings of 45.3 million.
In the Bihar and Jharkhand market, Big Magic Ganga stood on top with a huge lead in the ratings as it stood at 1083.9. ETV Bihar Jharkhand came in next with ratings of 524.7. Dabangg came in next with ratings of 170.5. DD Bihar brought in ratings of 41.6.
In the Tamil Nadu market, Sun TV came in on top with ratings of 126 million. KTV came in next with ratings of 44 million and was followed by Star Vijay with 38 million.
In the Karnataka market, Colors Kannada leads with ratings of 22 million. Udaya Movies came in at No.2 with ratings of 18 million. Suvarna came in at No.3 with ratings of 16 million.
In the Kerala market, Asianet was at No.1 spot with ratings of 60 million. It was followed by Mazhavil Manorama which brought in ratings of 29 million. Surya TV came in next with 20 million.
