Star India's Bangla and Marathi value pack is overpriced compared to South.it is reflected in their ratings especially Star Pravah.Except those and the removed channels from DDFD,Star got benefited after new rule. Ipl ratings increased, Star Plus and Star Maa performing well,2 Ngc channels entered top 5, all other channels manages their ratings fairly. But I hope Star will slightly slash their channel/package prices post IPL (atleast Bangla and Marathi packs.
Now Star Bharath and & TV ratings are closing together after removal from DDFD
Colors Bangla which was a permanent member all these years now disappeared from top 5 and Sony Aath in the list

I think star needs to create seperate regional packs for star pravah & star jalsha acc to their performance
Difference between star bharat & &tv is huge if you check barc grp impressions star bharat is 190938 & tv grp impressions are 120712 this diff is huge bt if u consider pointwise grp then diff looks very small....& this is real grp of star bharat....earlier before NTO star bharat urban grp is always with additional urban grp from dd free dish bt in anyways the show's ad rates are always decided on pure urban trp/grp basis not on the rural nd dd free dish urban/rural grps

As per their strategy they will not reduce price/ARPU, they will Just add more chs keeping same price if needed in bengali pack, they recently did that by adding 4 extra chs taking total chs to 14 from earlier 10.

Tellychakkar's urban & rural impressions looks so fake to me just see the diff between tellychakkar's (urban &rural) & BARC official site(urban &rural) impressions & even positions of top5 shows r also different....why??
