We can expect Disney and Hungama anytime soon on Star's packages, As Disney channel out from Top 5. Exactly from the implementation of Trai's rule both the channels started losing viewership.

Most probably there will be Zee Keralam in Malayalam top 5 by next week. Only want to know who is going to be pushed back- Asianet Movies or Surya TV.

Though Star Plus and Dangal are safe for now, Zee TV has been dethroned by Sony. Then how come some people were saying that not many people are opting for Sony packs?* :huh:

*Maybe that has to do with Sony not including Sony BBC Earth in its packs, and therefore its low viewership. But the two flagship Sony GECs are shattering records every week.

Surya for sure. Asianet Movies has the ISL coming up in a month or two.

Its all because of KBC....actually kbc airtime is 1.5 hr so it equal to 3 shows of 1/2 hr nd that means their 3 primetime shows (means kbc)are getting 2.7 trp &bcz of kbc their other fictions trp also increases after kbc they will be back to pre kbc grp level which is approx equal to zee sony....same thing happened last year also it just matter of 3 months

Surya for sure. Asianet Movies has the ISL coming up in a month or two.

It's an appreciable thing that Sony made a strong comeback. But I didn't say anything extra ordinary in that. Sony's ratings got lifted up by KBC. Sony isn't a newbie or this is not the first time they're achieving this. They became #1 many times previously. One thing is now great, both of their GECs became strong.
Even Sony's Hindi packs not affected much, but it's sure that their reach in South India got reduced(due to the absence of a regional channel) and is reflected in Sports channel rating.
Surya TV's movie library serves as a power bank for them. Earlier once Surya TV was pushed to 5th place, later they tried a come back by increasing movie time(including premiers) and introducing new shows. Then they stopped at #2 from last position. So can't predict definitely on that. Anyway we may see that Surya TV, Asianet Movies and Zee Keralam randomly in and out on Top 5. To an extent Flowers tv can be added in the list as after becoming pay channel they might see huge drop in rating.As of now Mazhavil Manorama will stay there.

Upcoming months are for zee keralam....surya will be in number 3 in onam festival..and flowers in at no 4....mazhavil had good movie premiers in onam day..so they will increase their trp....

MM already moved ahead of Flowers even before the latter become a pay channel, not a good sign for Flowers.
Asianet Movies moved up to 4th, pushing Surya down.
Zee Keralam may enter Top 5 during Onam, but sustaining top 5 position is more important.

I think ISL would be in Asianet Plus. Now a days, all sporting events are moved to Plus.
