This morning, the Internet was buzzing with a rumour that Varun Dhawan is in advanced talks with Nitesh Tiwari for a film. Neither the producer of this collaboration was known nor the veracity of it. ETimes has it now that Varun is indeed doing a NItesh Tiwari film and its shooting starts in March. Sajid Nadiadwala will hold the production reins of this one.

Neither is this film 'Sanki' the one that Varun had signed up with Nadiadwala, supposedly in early 2021 wherein he was supposed to play a handicapped cop.

Nitesh Tiwari has signed Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor to play the leads in his next directorial, to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It marks Tiwari's reunion with the producer after the 2019 superhit, Chhichhore, and Varun's fourth collaboration after Dishoom, Kalank, and Judwaa 2 while Janhvi is teaming up with him for the first time. The yet-untitled film is believed to be an entertaining love story, however, the plot and other details have been kept under wraps at this moment.

Varun has been looking to work with Nitesh Tiwari for a while now and things have finally fallen in place. The duo is teaming up on a very special film this year and the workshops on the same will begin as early as February 2022.

The movie will go on floors from April 2022 in Mumbai with a start to finish schedule, in multiple locations. The trio of Sajid - Varun - Nitesh are very excited to commence work on this film.
