Big B turns Bigger B as now Bollywood meets Tollywood! Following the consecutive super-success of GHAJINI, WANTED, DABANGG and READY, South Indian cinema and its leading men are now a rage, the latest entrant in the buzz to arrive is Telugu director Poori Jagannath, a name that is hugely associated with Telugu super hits like BADRI, SUPER and blockbuster POKIRI (WANTED in Hindi). Renowned for his stylish action-packed endeavors, BBUDDAH... HOGA TERRA BAAP repacks the histrionics of famous 'angry young man' image of the legendary actor with his style of stylish slick action and witty humor. Like some of recent Amitabh hits (BAGHBAN and NISHABD), this flick present him as a reliable singer as he is the only prominent male lead playback singer of the album. Vishal-Shekhar, favorites with Bachchans and their international tours are the composers for this fun-filled action entertainer. 'Bachchan-mania' is about to begin, are you ready?

Big Bang! The arrogant, stylish, broody 'angry young (or old) man' arrives with all its grit, wit and humor in thematically penned and composed title track 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap (Acapella)'. This egotistically themed number comes in story-telling narrative mode with minimal instrumentals used and works humorously as well as modishly in Vishal Dadlani's 'street-smart' wordings ('Thodi Thodi Seena Zori, Thodi Thodi Matha Fodi, Thoda Action Thoda Jackson, Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap...) to deliver out bagful of entertainment. For all Big B hardcore fans, this one is a fun-unlimited that brings back the old 80's action hero, who roars with electrifying dialogues and punches hard his villains. Entertaining!!!

'Bbudah Hoga Tera Baap (Dub Step)' adds funky 'cub-house' discotheque mania into the previous track, an engaging piece of number that will make everybody shake their booty on floors. Bouncy DJ spins and scratches dominates that permeates well into vocals and further it's a great turn-tablism combined with crazy emceeing that takes this version to further high velocity. Go for it!!!

Soothing in baritones and mellifluous in textures, the first melody-based offering brings the suave sounding Amitabh Bachchan with mild sensuous feminine chorals in beautifully composed 'Haal-E-Dil'. Following the serenity of tracks like 'Rozana' (NISHABD), 'Main Yahaan Tu Wahaan' (BAGHBAN), it exhales out subtly in nimble-paced soundtrack that is tenderly orchestrated where Monali Thakur's slender voice is beautifully interspersed in Amitabh's varying comforting voice with amiable back-up support of Shekhar Ravijani. To be precise, it brings back memories of the rehashed version of 'Kabhi Kabhi' (KABHI KABHI) that was made aesthetically for Big B's solitary Indi-Pop album ABY BABY. Vishal-Shekhar delivers a gem of composition that should be cherished by Big B fans for years, overall a remarkable effort by entire team to deliver out a notable musical feature. Melodious!!!

Big B and party world tours are a big rage worldwide. The next frolicsome offering 'Go Meera Go', epitomizes this festive on-stage concert feel. Big B sings out passionately couple of his evergreen hit tracks (('Khaike Paan Banaraswala' (DON), 'Ke Pag Gungroo Bandh Meera' (NAMAK HALAL), 'Rang Barse' (SILSILA) and 'Saara Zamana' (YARAANA)) in frenzied 'medley' version with strong back-up vocal support of hip-hop emceeing by Abhishek Bachchan. It shows different dimensions of the composers as they take stadium/arena listeners as target listeners and pumps up all energy in typical rock-concert stylized show. It's 'Bachchan-mania' all the way, it brings back and aloud the charisma that this legendary actor holds worldwide. Rocking!!!

Finally, the last soundtrack 'Chandigarh Ki Star', takes a chill-break from Big B singing and brings back fervently peppy sounding Sunidhi Chauhan to the forefront. Regaling out Punjabi pop fervor of her earlier hit tracks like 'Ainvayi Ainvayi' (BAND BAAJA BAARAAT) and 'Dance pe Chance' (RAB NE BANA DI JODI), Sunidhi pumps up energy again in this fast-beat 'bhangra' track that amuses with hilarious one-liners ('Main Chandigarh di star mundi, Slowing down the car, Sector 25 mein heel meri tutt gayi ni...) and hip-shaking jamming signature tunes. If you all have thoroughly cherished and enjoyed abovementioned songs, this one will be another booty-shaker for you, play it loud and feel the heat.

BBUDDAH.. HOGA TERA BAAP means 'Bachchan-mania' all the way! Love it or loathe it, nobody can deny the magnanimity and grandeur of Amitabh Bachchan's colossal action-packed superstardom that ruled hearts in 70's and 80's, the album rejuvenates back the magic again; yes it does to a large extent! Highly popular title track 'Bbudah Hoga Tera Baap' is the showstopper but the surprise comes in harmoniously voiced 'Haal-e-Dil', while 'Go Meera Go' and 'Main Chandigarh Ki Star' are pure entertainers. Vishal-Shekhar deserve all applause for not leaving any blemishes or rough patches in this album and delivering out the desired needful, a one big listening treat for all Big B fans worldwide.
