Rishtey Cineplex will air a slew of choicest movies with a mix of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Bhojpuri movies dubbed in Hindi.

The channel is strengthening its content repository and will be armed with a movie library of 1500+ hours, including 500+ unique titles and plans to host two movie festivals along with a premiere every month.

BDM & Rishtey Cineplex are different channels. Viacom18 Got license Named as BDM & MTV Indies license name changed as Rishtey Cineplex.

Also Viacom18 started testing of BDM & Rishtey Cineplex differently. If they replace BDM license as Rishtey Cineplex, then they should change name of Rishtey Cineplex testing feed as BDM, but they didn't change it.

So it's clear that Rishtey Cineplex will not replace BDM. It will be a brand new channel.

Very simple, they might b previously having plan to launch these 2 diff chs but later decided to shelve bhojpuri channel owing to some reason or may well b that BDM was used as test slot to let audience sample content , get feel of response or even reserve slot to later replace with Rishtey Cineplex.

Chs do engage in background testing and later simply swap it with other ch feed, so BDM slot on intelsat might go blank as Free Dish retunes to RC or broadcaster will swap feed on sat itself and same will happen on other slot

Sony Max 2 and even UTV Movies, Z Anmol Cinema, Star Utsav Movies mostly play bollywood content
