Their comparison is not between channels,

But comparing what viewers watch.
Especially men.

When u watch tv , we choose some genre over other, like music or movies over sport and news.

Once genre choose, we finalise best suitable channel among that, like in. News, we prefer aaj talk over zee news.

So first choosing genre is important.

Or u can say in this way

We watch news and GEC,

But 80% time news and rest GEC

So reliance want to change equation from news 80 to 20% and GEC 80%.
