Seeking Help Binge+ remote Issue

My tataplay binge+ remote is having a problem from last 2 months. Remote is consuming high battery power. New pairs of batteries not lasting more than a week. Anybody knows the soloution for this problem? Buying a new remote can solve the problem? Is any other methods to solve the issue? If i needs to buy a new remote then what will be the cost?

In general, the most used buttons are volume controls. So, pair your TP remote with TV remote for controlling your volume and mute button. The more the bluetooth usage, the more the battery consumption. So, you will be using IR for controlling your volume and Bluetooth for the remaining ones.
I did the same and the battery usage drastically improved.

Normal with bluetooth remote. You can use it in IR mode as well. Just don't pair it. Next time it ask to pair.

I have never faced such issue with remote of Airtel XStream box . At my house TV is watched a lot during the whole day, still new battery lasts for about 6 to 7 months

Update software in STB
Put a good battery, duracell or duracell chota power (Rs.20 per piece)
see if these helps, apart from pairing volume buttons of tv with stb remote as suggested above

After last binge+ update , an update was released for remote also..make sure to update the firmware of the remote

Go to settings> devices and accessories
Make sure stb connected to internet
