Quite likely that Star Gold will become south indian dubbed channel post Movies Ok revamp and compete with Zee Cinema, Star Gold 2 will air mostly latest or bollywood films from past 10 years... Star Gold will have few bollywood premieres and some other hindi films same what Zee Cinema does right now. Star India believes that it will help gather more ratings but i think it will cause more problem, audience largely sees Star India channels as home of bollywood cinema which would be difficult to rebuild.

UTV Movies already competing with Max2 and Zee Bollywood, Star Utsav Movies will shortly re position itself as classic cinema channel... Star Gold Select still sticking to offbeat content
