New Delhi : Amongst the many millions in India watching the India-Pakistan semifinal at Mohali were 67.3 million viewers with cable and satellite connections, rating agency Audience Measurement and Analytics Ltd. (aMap) estimated Thursday.

Viewership ratings soared during the match Wednesday with 67.3 million people watching, translating to ratings of 11.74, exceptionally high for a 100 overs match, aMap said.

The agency clarified that the numbers were based only on homes with cable and satellite connections and did not include viewers with DTH connections and others.

The average time spent by viewers was 160 minutes per person, which is also the highest for any match in the 2011 World Cup.

Viewership ratings went up to 20.02 in the closing stages as India wrapped up the match by 29 runs.

In today's match also we can expect the same record. Both matches are important. India- Pakistan match was emotionally attached, and against Sri Lanka it is for pride. Enjoy the match without any pre-concluded assumption.
