Cable TV operators coordination committee in Kerala stage a protest at Ernakulam head post office against on December 26. The stir against trai new Tariff plan. The trai proposal will destroy cable TV operators and it will sell the cable TV connections to multi national companies or cable operators need to surrender to MSO s. This are the points in press release.

This is utterly false as Cable operators are also eligible to 20% of pay TV subscription revenue on top of NCF. Just look at Star contract. out of Rs 19 subscription revenue 4 rupee goes to these operators and broadcasters gets Rs 15

My area cable operator in Bangalore was to pay Rs 100 to Den but was collecting Rs 250 from us,today with this new Trai implementation where is Rs150 profit for each connection now Rs Rs250 collection will not give even Rs100 to LCO or cable. operator
