Stating that the moves by the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) to hike rent for using electric poles for laying television cables would lead to imposing additional financial burden on the TV viewers, the cable TV operators on Thursday staged a protest march to the KSEB’s Division office here seeking withdrawal of the decision.

The march, organised by the Kasaragod District Cable TV Operators Association, was inaugurated by K. Kunhiraman, the CPI(M) MLA from Uduma constituency.
