The competition in broadband services market in Tamil Nadu is heating up with a company run by cable TV operators now entering the segment hitherto dominated by corporates.
On Friday, Thamizhaga Cable TV Communication Private Limited (TCCL), a multi-system operator (MSO) run by cable TV operators launched its Thamizhaga Internet Communications Private Limited (' TIC Fiber ') broadband service.
Last year, the TN government too launched its 'affordable' broadband service - ' Arasu Fibre' - through the state-owned Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation (TACTV).
