Pros and Cons of Sun Direct:
1. Cheapest ROI SD Packs. South too.
2. HD Packs too quite cheap.
3. Sun Nxt App subscription free with every active subscription of dth
4. Cash back if recharged through sun direct app or www.sundirect.in
5. South Indian Cinema Clubs Exclusive.
6. More than 30+ Bengali Channels, Services & Language Feeds
7. GST not charged for ala carte as it is already charged during pack recharged.
8. Exclusive Marathi channel - Sun Marathi.
9. Apart from channels, Language Feeds, Cinema Clubs, Home Channels.
10. HD & SD Box with recording facility.
11. Most important best service. Complaint solved very quickly.

Cons:
1. No Interactive Services
2. Home channels in South Indian languages. Difficult for ROI customers to understand.
3. At one point of time Bangladeshi channels were there. But now not a single Bangladeshi channel. Dish TV & DD Free Dish carrying Bangladeshi channel till today.
4. No Polimer channels for Tamil.
5. Website not at all updated timely.
6. All doordarshan channels are not present. Though it is mandatory. Like DD Shimla, DD Hissar, DD Goa, DD Jharkhand, DD Manipur, DD Mizoram.
7. Very less Assamese channels. Even the central govt owned DD Manipur, DD Mizoram available.
8. Devotional channels should be part of all DPO Packs- However Prarthana Channel not available on all DPO Packs.
9. Very late in adding new channels.
10. Wrong EPG always. Zee Punjab Haryana Himachal EPG shows Zee Punjabi which creates confusion as Zee Punjabi is a separate channel.
11. Gujarati & Punjabi DPOs not available.
12. Kite Victers Free Education Service, though free but not available on all packs. Only available on request.

• Channel categorized by boutique to navigate particular category by remote
• Good in adding required channel (My opinion)
• Adding good channel in monthly pack few time which make pack attractive
• We can add or remove channel / add on / ala carte / boutique through web or app far better
• 0 day lock in period for nearly all tv channel / pack / boutique / ala carte / add on (dont know their own dth movie channel)
• 0 day lock in channel price charging method truly admirable, no looting like d2h
• No need to format pen drive to recording content (encrypted mode)
• l think HD box allow to play media file from pen drive
• Hide channel working but if hide channel in large number not up to the mark
• 3 digit LNC
• Their way to give detail of pack / boutique / ala carte / add on on web page or app really good
• Earlier arranged LNC 4 to 150 for non ROI regional channel, maybe Tamil or Telugu

Conz

• Favourite not working
• No Hindi Premier Channel
• Lazy CC team including dealer
• No Hindi CC available to communicate on phonecall
• EPG method not good
• No good offer for ROl viewer
• Many ROl regional tv channel picture quality poor but earliar improving little
• No radio channel available
• No gaming option / pack
• Availability very limited (in Pune & maybe in ROl)
• Pack changing pathetic, each time recharge that pack
• To get add on / ala carte / boutique / channel you have to maintain different balance, they dont deduct amount from your recharge date
• They now dont offer temporary break, write on twitter when you required
• No recorded program folder management
• Multi audio content only in one language (which run time you kept)
• Channel price give in EPG program name, few time unnoticeable if program name lengthy

Tata Sky & airtel also have 0 day lock in period & I think dish d2h also have it with some restrictions.

D2h looting unimaginatively. Many time they charge more than 30 day price including tax even activated for 0 day mainly channel price below 2 Rupee.

Forget to add main point, DTH company logo in half opeque mode on TV. Every lndian DTH have to follow the way.

Yes. I think there is a rule by MIB that DTH company logo should be half opaque.

Airtel logo is the worst. Totally opaque.
