Can anyone tell me how to know about the TEST CHANNEL in D2H??
how to know whether a new channel is being tested or not??

Buy a Mpeg 4 DVBS 2 Fta box, then connect it to d2h Dish & start scan, then you can get Test channels.

can i use dd direct plus set top box to know test channels

Ya you can but DD using MPEG - 2 tech & most of channels are MPEG - 4 (DVB - S / S2) / HD channels. You mostly add mpeg - 4 channels (d2h is exception for FTA receiver about adding channels). If you store any MPEG - 4 fta channel you can just hear sound of the channel & no picture.

Dish align to desired satellite is must.

D2H box dosnt add test mode channels while its in test mode in it's channel list. Its my experience. Lets see if anybody get channel even channel in test mode.

No you can't use d2h stb to scan test channels..
