Search for the lander in this large mosaic centered on the targeted landing coordinates. Note this mosaic is quite large (28314 pixels by 57851 lines) with approximately 900 million illuminated pixels (1.25 meter pixels, 1000 meter grid, polar stereographic projection) [NASA/GSFC/Arizona State University].

Image width of 87KM, available in the below source link

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has taken a fresh set of pictures under better lighting conditions of the area where the Indian moon lander Vikram likely ended up and experts will be making a rigorous search for it.

LRO will next fly around the region on November 10 and it will be another good opportunity with favourable lighting conditions for pictures

Vikram Lander was actually found by Indian guy, he send his findings to both ISRO and NASA. ISRO haven't responded while NASA processed it and released the final image.

Drama here

"We don't want to tell anything on this one. After the landing date itself, our website had given that our own orbiter has located Vikram. We have already declared that on our website. You can go back and see...Our own orbiter has located the site of the lander," Dr Sivan told reporters on the sidelines of an event in Rajasthan's Kishangarh.

'Already Done,' Says ISRO Boss On Chennai Engineer Spotting Lander Debris

when I checked the ISRO website only a line of text is present "
Vikram lander has been located by the orbiter of Chandrayaan-2, but no communication with it yet. All possible efforts are being made to establish communication with lander
"

Chandrayaan 2: Vikram lander has been located by the orbiter - ISRO

now question is why NASA is doing research after ISRO finds the orbitter and why Indian media was quite or not questioned ISRO about more details of the images of crashed site

Today early morning they were able to receive carrier signal from lander but no data transfer.

so ISRO was quit to publish the images and that engineer and NASA who spend times are waste? seriously now I feel sad for
