Star India’s youth and music destination Channel V is all geared up to add three new shows to its programming mix from February to April.
Sources close to the development inform Indiantelevision.com that the channel is coming up with the new season of Dil Dosti Dance titled as Dangerous Dil Dosti Dance D4 produced by Cinevistaas. The show will sport a new cast and story-line and is tentatively slated for launch on 22 February in the 7 pm time band.
The other two new shows are titled Ishq Unplugged and Shine of India.
Ishq Unplugged is a new fiction show starring Mohit Gaur and Shruti Prakash, which is produced by Panorama Entertainment. The show is slated to go on air from 7 March in the early prime time band of 7:30 pm. The love story is set on the background of a singing reality show where the two leads fall in love during the contest. It will depict their love story with a singing twist.
The second show titled Shine of India will see veteran Bollywood actors Govinda and Raveena Tandon uniting on television. The dance reality show, produced by Rajesh Kumar, will launch on 23 April and will be aired every Saturday and Sunday at 10 pm.
Shine of India hosted by Star Plus’s Veera fame Farnaaz Shetty, will also see Saroj Khan and Sheetal Khandal judging the competition.
While Govinda has previously appeared as a judge on shows like Dance India Dance, Super Moms and Jeeto Chappar Phaad Ke, Tandon was seen mentoring shows like Issi Ka Naam Zindagi, Simply Baatien With Raveena, Chak De Bachche and Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala amongst others.
