Colors Marathi to launch its HD feed

High Definition (HD) channels are only to show cricket and cinema or internationally shot factual entertainment shows is no longer a valid perception. After Indiantelevision.com recently broke the news that Star India is launching Star Jalsha HD and Jalsha Movies HD for the Bengali regional market, Viacom 18's Colors too is coming out with the high definition feed for its Marathi channel, Colors Marathi.

A source close to the development shared, "The HD feed for Colors Marathi will be launched in about six months. The network is waiting to get certain internal clearances before the launch."

This popular regional entertainment channel enjoys a substantial chunk of the Marathi viewership and is known for its flagship shows like Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati ,  Majhe Man Tujhe Zhale and Char Diwas Sasuche.
