Connect 2.1 speaker from ts box

Friends need help, recently purchased new tata sky HD set top box, but there is no any optical output. there are only HDMI, USB & VGA/RCA cable outputs....I have SONY home theater whose only optical in & HDMI out port available (RCA is also there but it will not fullfill 5.1 sound)

just hear from someone that optical output is no longer with tata sky boxes is it???

my TV have only one HDMI port which is busy in video output given by STB, there is no any source to get 5.1 sound. Please help me
