Both DTH is lazy...they have plan to grow south market with d2h while North market with Dish TV. In upcoming time if you are from North India then you will get SES-8 alignment in d2h new connection.

In future some new channels may Launch but mostly channels are not interested due to high carriage fees. Hope for the best.
