I have 75 cm & 90 cm dish & looking for C band channels which needs maximum 150 cm dish. bad luck is I have 17k lnbf but hope at least I will get maximum 50-55% signal strength. MCCB provides dish with 90 + FTA channel with 90cm dish I think they focus dish to Asiasat 3 @ 105 & 93.5 for DD.

Agar aapko 8 ki reading mil jaati hai satellite meter par, toh woh stb par 80 percent signal intensity kay barabar hai, agar aapko 9 milti hai toh woh aur bhi aacha hai, leykin agar aapnay step by step procedure ki hai, jaisaey mainay bataaya hai, toh 8 ki reading mil jayegi (for all indian dth in India).

Satellite finder ko phir sey 5 par set karnay ki zarurat nahi hai.

For c band get 13k lnbf for good signals....

Thanks. I forgot to buy extra 13k lnbf yesterday but now I can just try it with 17k lnbf. Each time I wast Rs. 100 on petrol & when I return to home I remind I forgot to buy something .

Its my fault but this time I am going to try with 17k lnbf only. Lets see what happen.

I need ur suggestion on below point.

I have 65 cm & 90 cm dish. I prefer 90 cm dish for C band channels. Even its not enough 90 cm dish for C band channels. I will try for maximum 150 cm dish required C band channels (on basis of footprint). You think 150 cm required dish's C band channels will receive through 90 cm dish at least within 50% - 55%. MCCB also offers 90 + C & Ku band fta channel on it's 90 cm dish.

To get full c band channels from major satellites in India : Get 180 cm (6ft) dish... its available in neeraj electronics (@pimpri, pune)

Now I got what are you saying that when I set pointer to 5 it means I wish to at least my receiver get 50% of signal strength which need at least show video of the channel. Buy on this / other forum I think he was vinayk told that when we get new reading set pointer again on 5 & align dish newly whenever you dont new reading & repeat this action whenever you dont get maximum of maximum strength by turning the db knob. But ok I will go trough your way. I think its better & I will try vinayk's (I think that was he) way too to find maximum possibility to get better access.

@Max, you can try my method, because i have practically tested this method on my dish tv dish for allignment, which have given me proper results...
Sometimes methods need to be modified, based on practical experience , so based on that i have told you how to use the analog meter
