Anybody knows what's the meaning of tuner 1 (MSTAR) ?

When I'm connecting Airtel dth provided HDMI cable I'm getting this HDMI 2 tuner 1 (MSTAR)

But when I'm connecting local market cable I'm getting only HDMI 2 option!

Some people says d2h/dish TV have feed good quality on SD channels but iam using tatasky,now SD channels are more clarity than 3months before.even picture clarity is depend upon size & panel quality of the TV also...Tatasky is perfect for number of channel,quality,service & package price...
